Invitation to Participate in Evaluating the Layouts and Features to be Implemented in the Histology Atlas
Hi Everyone,
Well, there are a lot of things to consider. For the evaluation by everyone (including students and staff), when would you like to begin that? I could write a general email and send it to everyone instructing them where to go, how to register if they aren't now, and how to evaluate the layouts. It seems better (and more convenient to the variable schedules of people) to do this by email instead of a formal meeting, or literally going to each person and explaining it. Or, we could arrange a formal meeting for introduction using a conference room-- bring up the page on the big screen? And then they could go back and try to use it individually and do their evaluations then.
I'd rather the evals be in written format right on the Wiki so we have it all available and make sure we don't miss anything, and you can always go back and add comments that you might think of later. I'd like it to be by vote for each layout, but also would like there to be vote on specific features within the layouts that you like, are indifferent to, or despise. We're testing out a bunch of image viewing options and there will perhaps be things in the most popular layout which are less than ideal, or things in a nonpreferred layout that you all just adore.
Thanks,
Ashley
