Official Invitation to All Participants Calling for a Layout Vote (05/26/07)

Well, I think two weeks of playing around with TWiki features has been an enjoyable learning experience, but we have enough for constructing the meat and bones of our TWiki-based histology atlas. Other features can always be added later or altered as this will be an ongoing collaboration for quite some time.

If you have not yet registered for the site, please do so at http://www.medicalhistology.us/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/TWikiRegistration.

Please take the next few days to evaluate the layout choices and provide votes and comments as you see fit. For my sanity, all comments regarding the layouts should be located only on the voting page (http://www.medicalhistology.us/twiki/bin/view/Main/LayoutVotingPage), although pretty much every page on this TWiki has a comments option. This will help me work from a central location instead of searching the whole TWiki for comments. Keep in mind that your votes can be modified later if you change your mind (just go back to that same page and re-enter your vote).

It may be wise to visit the voting page first and just glance at the vote questions to get an idea of things to keep an eye out for in each layout on which you'll be making a decision. The layouts are easily accessed from this page, so this can be your home base until we tally the votes and get the initial full working atlas online.

Thanks so much to all who have offered to contribute to its development! This promises to be a very useful tool for people around the world.
