Thanks Robert,
I found the available space for the course space, but the same procedure for the LOR did not report space availability.
Thanks for looking at the medhisto.us site. The skeleton for the project is pretty much in place for now. This project has two exciting properties.
First, the atlas itself. We have reviewed other on-line atlases that our students are known to frequent and I believe that this atlas might bring them back home to roost. Ironically, we no longer have a histology course for our students within our Program's immediate purview. The Atlas project was put into motion before the course leadership shifted.
Second, the collaborative nature of the twiki engine has streamlined my interactions with Ashley (medical student grinding away at content). I am in contact with her on a near hourly basis for the entire day about her progress and putting in my 2 cents. Ashley generally works 7 days per week on the project and she works from several campus and non-campus locations. Server side publishing greatly simplifies content creation. Email and telephones seem terribly inefficient. The RSS feed is especially handy for monitoring progress.
I am not a big fan of technology for the sake of technology. In fact, I think that technology has, overall, lead to a decrease in the quality of education. Server side content creation (Web 20), however, might be a technological oasis if not misused.
Death to the Webmaster and freedom to the masses.
Loren
